The C. Wayne Ellett Plant and Pest Diagnostic Clinic at Ohio State specializes in the identification of plant diseases, plant health problems, insects and insect related problems.
The CWEPPDC offers a broad spectrum of testing to identify pests and plant diseases. Diagnosticians collaborate with specialists in plant pathology, entomology, horticulture, agronomy, natural resources, and other areas to identify pests, plant diseases, and cultural and environmental problems of plants.
The C. Wayne Ellett Plant and Pest Diagnostic Clinic is a fee-based service laboratory.
Sample submissions require a request form. Please choose the appropriate form for your sample. A complete history of the specimens, surrounding plants, and symptoms are very helpful. Detailed sampling instructions may be found by selecting a category on the left-hand side of the screen that best fits your sample type.
